Expect To See Xiaomi’s First Drone Fly, Next Week

Xiaomi’s promise to build an ecosystem is getting more real by the day. This time, the company teased the arrival of their first-ever drone, in a couple of days #actionmagic

A post on the company’s forums hinted at the arrival of Xiaomi drone on May 25th, with a live stream on their official website. As a reference, Xiaomi revealed a cool concept with an underslung spherical camera and under it… a bamboo-copter.

You won’t believe it, but the connection between the two is quite simple, as a company representative wrote: “Something wonderful and cool is flying to us very soon.  A Bamboo-copter? In China, it’s the earliest flying toys consisted of feathers at the end of a stick, which was rapidly spun between the hands and released into flight. ”
