Google Pixel may be great at taking photos, but it doesn’t do so good with security. A Chinese team proved it in Seoul, after hacking the phone in 60 seconds! #securemagic

Qihoo 360 (a name you’ll probably remember after this article) was able to break the phone at the PwnFest hacking competition. They used an undisclosed vulnerability to obtain remote code execution. Participants saw how after launching the Google Play store, Chrome opened and displayed a victory message reading “Pwned By 360 Alpha Team”.

While Google works on a patch for the flaw, Microsoft and Adobe need to pull up their sleeves and get to work, too. The same team was able to hack Adobe’s Flash with a combination decade-old, in just four seconds. Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 was next – Qihoo 360 showed vulnerabilities in their system, too. The updated version of Safari on MacOS Sierra was a victim too, this time at the hands of the popular hacking Pangu Team.

All in all, the guys at Qihoo 360 left the competition with a total prize of $520,000.
