HP Is Back In Business With Fast And Versatile 3D Printers For Small Companies

HP teased a project involving 3D printing about two years ago but, at the pace the tech world is going, everyone stopped waiting for it to become reality. It seems that the company didn’t stay idle in the past couple of years and is now ready to put a fast, inkjet-like printer in full color on the market #todaymagic

The Multi Jet Fusion Technology behind their printer is set to deliver object 25% faster than standard printers and in a larger variety of colors. At $130,000, HP is hoping small companies will give it a go, making it a key feature of their business.

Without getting too technical about it, we’ll tell you that the inkjet feature is basically a system that paints nylon before it is fused, unlocking a world of colorful possibilities. That said, the ink does not cover the whole array of colors at this moment.

This is definitely a new venture for HP but seeing that 3D printing is becoming more popular by the day, we’d say they took the right risk.
