Now that the OnePlus 6 is an official thing (see specs and features here) and we are past rumors and teasers and have gotten friendly with the images, specs and pricing, the users want to know one thing: will it survive the durability test?
The test is now quite standard, having been put forth by Zack from the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel.
In the video above, you will notice the camera glass cannot be scratched with a razor blade, and the fingerprint sensor passes that test as well.
The screen puts up with an open flame for 20 seconds or so, after which the exposed pixels die for good.
As far as the bend test, the OnePlus6 passed it like a breeze, without any cracks. The frame in its entirety is left intact and the glass unshattered.
The phone is covered in Gorilla Glass on both sides, so we can say we are impressed, but we really should not be surprised, should we?
