The first smartphone from Oppo’s sub-brand, the Realme 1, is here and is looking pretty smart.
Beyond the diamond-like black back cover where a 13 MP camera is found, what really catches the eye is the 6-inch, 2160 x 1080 px screen with no notch in sight.
Under the hood, the Realme 1 is powered by the Helio P60 chipset with some AI perks for better performance when gaming.
AI is also extended to all other aspects of the phone. It’s there for the management of the 3,410 mAh battery, in order to learn your usage habits and adjust the power consumption accordingly.
It’s also there to allow for facial unlock in less than 0.1 seconds and also provide plenty of beautification solutions for the 8 MP front camera.
The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version starts at around 112€, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage goes for 175€.
Before you get too excited, you should know that the Realme1 will be sold exclusively through Amazon India. That means it runs a unique Indian theme based on ColorOS 5.0 and built on Android 8.1.
