Huawei’s plan to “overtake the competition” started this year with P9’s dual-lens system, continued with the Mate 9 smartphone release and its Porsche variant and if recent leaks are to be believed, it’s going to reach a peak next spring. Then, Huawei is going to unveil P10, whose specifications were recently spotted online #mobilemagic
According to GFXBench data, P10 will come with a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display, a more powerful 2.3GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor, twice the internal memory of its predecessor (6GB of RAM) and 256GB of internal storage! That’s plenty of room for all the videos and photos you want to shoot and store.
As you might expect, Huawei P10 will come with Android 7.0 Nougat and the company’s EMUI skin. There are a couple camera references there, too; a 12MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP selfie shooter but nothing about a dual-camera system.
That said, pictures showing the P10 prototype have already popped up on Weibo, the Chinese social network. These confirm the existence of the dual cameras, but should be taken with a pinch of salt for now:
