IFA is right around the corner and LG will definitely be a show-stopper for many. At the event, they plan to debut three ultrawide monitors, starting from a 38-inches curved monitor and finishing with a 34-incher with AMD FreeSync #hardwaremagic
If you happen to be in Berlin this weekend, take a detour to Messe Berlin and check out the latest consumer electronics, including LG’s three new monitors (you’ll probably bump into us there, by the way). They will showcase a 38-inch curved monitor, dubbed the “world’s largest”, that you’ll probably be able to purchase next month for $1500. For that kind of money, you get Quad HD+ resolution of 3,840 x 1,600 and a USB-C port built-in.
There’s also two 34-inches versions, one flat with Google Cast support and multitasking capabilities and another one promoted as “the world’s first 144Hz IPS 21:9 Curved UltraWide gaming monitor”. This one comes with AMD FreeSync, intended to minimize stuttering and tearing. These babies go for $600-$700 – not a piece of cake, but definitely friendlier with your money than the 38-inches titan.
We’ll come back with hot updates from IFA 2016 soon.
