Latest Galaxy Note 10 Series Update Improves Facial Recognition and Gesture Navigation

Samsung released The Galaxy Note 10 line in August 2019 and has since been one of the company’s flagship phones. This latest update addresses issues reported by users regarding face unlock and navigation gestures. According to SamMobile, the update is already available in Germany and Malaysia and is spreading worldwide as we speak.

Samsung says the new software version, N97xFXXU2BTB5, improves the facial recognition algorithms and the gestures for navigation. The update also introduces some bug fixes and system stability improvements and will take up about 260 MB.

To check for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 update on your own device go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

As for the March security patch, that’s not included yet, but it’s not far away since the Galaxy S20 Ultra has already received it.

By now, every Galaxy Note 10 line phones should be running on Android 10, any device that doesn’t will receive the update by the end of January 2020. The next move to Android 11 is expected in December 2020.
