This morning, GoPro unveiled the highly teased Karma, a foldable drone that comes in its own backpack. You can easily control with two joysticks and see its route on a touchscreen display. With the GoPro Passenger™ App, friends can view the flight can control the cam while you keep the drone steady in the air.
If we’re talking about flying steady, you have to know Karma’s biggest advantage. The 3-axis gimbal that helps you capture smooth footage at “Hollywood caliber stabilization” can be removed and used on a bike, helmet or car.
If you’ll look carefully, you’ll see a handle that becomes the Karma Grip, a handheld stabilizer. This 4-in-1 product (if you count the action camera) is going to sell for $799, coming October 23.
