Xbox One owners have always lacked choices when it came to wireless headphones, but things are about to change. SteelSeries pushed the change with a new wireless headset. The Artics 9X is the perfect match for Xbox One, finally offering the support Xbox fans needed for so long.
The headset connects with the Xbox One in about 5 seconds, just like a controller – by hitting the wireless pairing button on the console and headset simultaneously.
The device is pretty similar with the SteelSeries’ Arctis 7, at least in terms of design. It features plush earpads with a fabric cover, a steel headband, plus a “ski goggle” suspension band for adjusting. Another similarity consists in the 40mm speaker drivers.
It also has a retractable microphone accompanied by a mute button. Other than that, the device features two dials on the earcups, for volume and balance.
The Arctis 9X’s Bluetooth allows you to continue your call or Discord conversation, while hearing your game. Also, it connects to a PC through the Xbox Wireless Adapter.
The SteelSeries Pro headset is for you if you’re tired of the old school cable between your headset and your controller. Arctis 9X can be purchased for 200 euros here.
