Bang & Olufsen Announce New Noise-Cancelling Headphones With An Aluminum Twist

Rimowa

Bang & Olufsen has announced its partnership with well-known luggage manufacturer Rimowa. The two brands joined forces to create the perfect travel buddy for those of you who happen to be on the road more often than not: a limited-edition Beoplay H9i noise-cancelling headphones with an accompanying carrier case.

If you don’t know who Rimowa is, let me tell you that the brand revolutionized travel when it introduced its now famous aluminium travel bags back in 1937 and took the spotlight again in 2000, when it used polycarbonate for its products. The material is famous for being both lightweight as well as durable and most quality travel cases now feature it.

Rimowa has created a miniature version of its famous, lightweight ridged travel case to house the Bang & Olufsen limited edition Neoplay H9i headphones.

The headphones themselves have been crafted from anodized aluminium and genuine leather, bringing both quality and comfort to the wearer.

The new Beoplay H9i are wireless but feature a touch interface that allow the users to adjust volume levels, change between music tracks and answer calls. Their best feature remains the noise-cancellation – an absolute must when traveling.

However, having the best of both worlds does come at a price: while the original H9is headset costs $500, the travel case and headphone combo will make your wallet $900 lighter.

They will become available on April 15th, so you still have some time to save up if you decide to go for it.
