Built For Play: LG Shows Off Its New UX, 5.0

Just 3 days, guys; 3 days separating you from #mobilemagic, the LG G5 and the collection of small, smart friends: Cam Plus, Hi-Fi Plus, 360 Cam, VR, Rolling Bot and Tone Platinum. If you are not quite sure how will the smartphone and accessories behave together, LG has launched a video showcasing the new user interface, as the link between them.

LG’ UX 5.0 is meant to help you connect with Friends, while making the play fun and simple. LG Friends Manager app will activate some or all of them and find the right apps that go with them. Also, you will have more opportunities to use the camera module than before. Besides film effects (filters), you can activate auto shot – the mode that recognizes when you pose and take a pic automatically -, multi view – the mode that creates a collage of photos made with all cameras simultaneously – and pop out picture, which simply frames the image in a blurry background.

Another thing you should know: LG has removed app drawer this time, trying to create a more streamlined experience but, if you find all that confusing, you can reverse to the original settings. See other features of the new user experience in the video above!
