Samsung has hit the jackpot with the curved display on the Galaxy Edge smartphones. So much so, that Apple is rumored to follow in its footsteps this time, releasing a curved iPhone next year #mobilemagic

report from the Nikkei Asian Review hints at a premium iPhone with a display of at least 5.5-inches in 2017. This one will be curved on the two sides, in a similar form that Samsung Galaxy S6/S7 Edge is today. They are also mentioning an OLED display. If you remember, rumors have been circulating in regards to a MacBook release with the same screen technology, so we won’t dismiss it.Other two smartphones, a 4.7-inches model and a 5.5-inches one are said to be unveiled along with the premium one.

This year though, Apple will stick to the tried-and-true, namely two devices. The company has given up on the iPhone 7 Pro model announced a month ago, deciding to fit the dual-lens camera on the iPhone 7 Plus, a 5.5-inches device. The classic iPhone 7, a 4.7-inches display, will be the base model, of course.  Neither of them will sport OLED display, the headphone jack is surely gone and the home button will be pressure-sensitive.
