During the pandemic, some countries faced an unprecedented issue, the shortage of cleaning products, as people panicked and started overbuying sanitizer, toilet paper and other hygiene products.
Of course, many manufacturers felt motivated to bring new products to a starving market. Among the thriving companies to do so is EvaPolar, which hopes to change the dynamic by introducing its new product, EvaPure.
The product is a hand-sized air sanitizer that purifies the air around you. Launched through an Indiegogo campaign, the product is supposed to reach mass production by October.
How does it work?
EvaPure basically works as a spray cleaner, integrating two buttons: one to distribute disinfecting spray through the air, and another to activate the air purifier. To create the cleaning spray that sanitizes your surfaces you will need a glass of water and a single tablet.
Tests have proven that the device has eliminated 92% of microorganisms in the air through an hour of use, and the good news is that you can take it with you without disturbing people around, as it makes no noise whatsoever. Also, charging the device takes one hour via a USB port.
The project team has begun turning its prototype into the final product, however, their ability to ship the products may be affected by product development or financial challenges. If things work out as expected, the products will start shipping somewhere in December.
