LG made it clear it was going to launch a 5G smartphone this year and we might have just seen a glimpse of it, at long last. Thanks to known leakster Evan Blass, we now have an image to grace all the rumors that have circulated so far about this upcoming device.
Unfortunately, the image didn’t come accompanied by specs, but the 5G connectivity addition is clearly set on the back of the device, in yellow, above a triple camera setup.
Reportedly, the phone will come with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, a vapor chamber cooling system and a 4,000mAh battery, both of which should, in theory, prove to be useful when working with 5G.
In late January, a Korean press release mentioned that a 5G phone will be unveiled during MWC 2019 so it’s only fair to assume this is the one it was talking about.
We’ll know for sure when the MWC unfolds but until then, you’ll definitely see the latest word on the device here first.
