Roku had plenty of announcements today, from adding Homekit and AirPlay2 to select devices to the new Roku Streambar.
At first look, this is quite a powerful sound bar for its form factor, as it’s only 14 inches long.
The price tag is also appealing – the Roku Streambar will go for £129.
This is quite the deal considering the Roku Streambar is not just a sound bar with Dolby audio – it’s also a 4K streaming device.
As the company put it, it’s “the ultimate 2-in-1 entertainment upgrade with powerful streaming and premium sound for any TV with HDMI, including Roku TV models.”
It comes with 1.9-inch full range drivers with Dolby Audio, features Bluetooth support and has Spotify Connect.
The bar comes with an included remote control.
You can also use voice commands, using either Alexa or Google Assistant.
Of course, the Roku Streambar will be among the first devices from Roku with Airplay 2 and Homekit. See the rest of them here.
