Do you find yourself missing your office space these days when working from home has become our religion? Well, Panasonic’s new home cubicle is the closest thing to your office desk you’ll get.
The modern Komoru home cubicle was designed to bring the “magic of cubicles” to your work-from-home life and it’s made out of wooden pegboards and an integrated desk.
Although originally known for its electronics, Panasonic also holds a housing systems business producing stuff like kitchens, toilets, and other furniture.
Komoru was created as a solution for the prolonged work-from-home environment induced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It seems that most people when given the choice would choose to work from home when asked during a survey. Half of them have their work station set up in their living room, already! As a result, Panasonic’s solution creates an almost formal office space, much needed to compartmentalize professional life from personal life while working remotely.
Komoru offers approximately one square meter of separate space with walls that are about four feet high for $835. For now, it’s selling only in Japan.
