Samsung Confirms: Galaxy Note 7′ Last Day Is December 19

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 refurbished

Samsung has announced the “time of death” of their Galaxy Note 7: this December, on the 19th. A couple of days before Christmas, all the Note 7 units in U.S. will become useless #mobilemagic

The phablets will be disabled through a software update that will spread across 30 of the major carriers on the course of 30 days beginning with December 19. What was just a rumor a couple of hours ago is now confirmed by the manufacturer itself.

The last software update for the phablet will prevent battery charging, so start preparing yourself for your gadget’s demise. This is Samsung’s latest effort in making all customers give up the explosive devices; at the moment, about 93% have been returned. The remaining can still be returned or exchanged for other Samsung devices… so be wise about what you’re holding onto.
