A new PlayStation 4 update rolled out today, one that a lot of people were actually looking forward to: the users can now control the system from the iPhone or iPad directly, via Remote Play for iOS.
The setup is not difficult at all: all the users have to do is update their PS4, download the app and then proceed to complete the pairing.
With Remote Play PS4 owners can join voice chats just by using the microphone and write texts on the console via the keyboard on their iPhone or iPad.
This update requires iOS 12.1, a PlayStation Network account and a home WiFi network. Unfortunately, the Remote Play is not compatible with either the DualShock 4 controller or mobile networks.
For Remote Play, the users would need an iPhone 7, iPad sixth generation or an iPad Pro second generation. You can grab the app from the U.K, U.S and Australian App Stores.
