Vivo is expected to launch the NEX 3 sometime in September, maybe even show up at IFA Berlin, but there are few secrets left about this device.
YouTuber Arun Maini posted on his channel an 8 minute long unboxing video that shows off the impossibly cool “waterfall” display, which makes the bezels appear to disappear and creates the illusion of a 100 percent screen-to-body ratio.
With no physical buttons, the Vivo Nex 3 relies on haptic feedback on the right side for its volume up, volume down and power “buttons”, while the camera is in a wide pop-up module.
While buttons are out, Vivo did keep the 3.5 mm audio jack, which is good news for those still not convinced by true wireless earbuds. Of course, the USB-C port can also work for some wired earphones but most users will just rely on it for charging (rumor has it that the Vivo NEX 3 will have 120 Super FlashCharge.)
Arun Maini showed off the triple rear camera setup but didn’t talk about specs. Here, various leaks and rumors point to a 64 MP setup.
Fortunately, as the launch draws nearer, we’ll see that Vivo NEX 3 complete specs list very soon.
