The Xperia XZ2 Premium had made its debut in April and, though it had not made its way into the UK at the time, Sony Mobile had promised to think about it – and they have. The device will be available in the U.K starting August 31.
The Premium brings with it a new dual camera setup alongside a 5.8-inch 4K HDR display. Also with it, the party is joined by the highest ISO 12800 sensitivity for video recording in a phone and an ultra-high 51200 sensitivity for night photos.
The standard XZ2 can record 4K HDR video but only the XZ2 Premium is capable of playing it back in HDR.
The phone comes with wireless charging and is supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired up with 6GB of memory. Of course, it has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 surface that surrounds it.
Before you decide to order it though, keep in mind Sony is set on revealing a phone or two in the coming weeks, with IFA Berlin just around the corner, so maybe hang in there for a few more days.
