Samsung might just bring a new waterproof phone this summer, just in time for vacation. After the S7 and S7 Edge’ water resistance feature, sources say phablet Galaxy Note 6 will get waterproof capability, alongside an eye scanner #mobilemagic
SamMobile states they have heard about a IP68 rated design for Galaxy Note 6, meaning you will be able to take photos underwater at 1.5 metres for 30 minutes.
Moreover, another Samsung fansite believes this one will sport extra security with one more biometric measure – eye scanning technology. Their reasoning? The company imported an “iris camera” module into India for R&D so future devices could feature this layer of security. #biomagic
We won’t know for sure until August, when the new phablet is expected to launch.
