Vivo has recently acquired a sub-brand, which has been dubbed iQOO and, by all accounts, it looks like the brand is planning on kicking off with a bang – a few leaked renders of its very first smartphone have surfaced on Chinese social media platform Weibo and they reveal that this first device will be a foldable smartphone.
The phone is similar in design to most of the foldable smartphones that have been rumored or leaked lately: the device will fold out from a tablet-like single display into a dual one, by being folded in two in the middle.
Other than the images, the leak doesn’t come accompanied by any specs but, according to the leakster, the price will most likely be CNY 7000, which would translate into over $1000, after conversion.
Even with these photos on hand, we still can’t really confirm that iQOO is preparing a foldable phone, so we’ll wait until we hear an official statement from the company itself, before we get too excited.
