Chinese technology company Vivo has launched the Vivo V9. Exclusively available for the Chinese and Indian markets, this flagship phone comes equipped with an amazing 24MP selfie camera and a few other high-end perks that the public has come expect from a leader in the Chinese smartphone market.
By far, the most attractive feature of the Vivo V9 is the powerful selfie camera. It comes with a feature called AI Face Beauty. Using machine learning, the camera can learn to identify your sex, age, skin tone, and texture. After it does so, it can add a myriad of lighting options, from studio to stereo, in order to offer you the best possible selfie. Vivo V9 also comes with augmented reality stickers to add a little playfulness to your photos.
Additionally, facial unlocking has received an update. Not only that, Vivo says that its AI Attention Sensing feature can tell when you’re looking at the screen and modify your notifications accordingly.
The Vivo V9 has a generous 6.3-inch screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a trendy notch. Typical of Vivo smartphones, its side bezels are only 1.75 mm thick, giving the phone an impressive 90% screen-to-body ratio.
Here are the full Vivo V9 specifications:
