We might as well call this October the #phoneapocalypse, since the releases look like they’re never ending – we got a whiff of a leaked poster from Vivo which reveals the launch date of their new smartphone from the Z-series, the Z3, to be October 17th.
The leak comes from Chinese microblogging platform Weibo and, according to the poster, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 710 SoC.
There’s also a rumor going around that the device will feature Vivo’s Dual Turbo technology, which should, in theory, improve the performance and overall gaming experience. The company might also launch the phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
According to the post, the Vivo Z3 will be available for CNY 1799, which is around $260, after conversion. For a Snapdragon 719-powered phone? Not bad at all.
But so far, the poster does not mean any of it is actually official, so take the news with a grain of salt, just in case.
