Theranos got their own documentary. Uber has its own show and now WeWork is getting a show too!
Apple TV Plus is betting that the story of WeWork, the company that went all in on coworking spaces, has what it takes to make for an engaging drama.
Check Apple TV Plus on March 18 for WeCrashed, a mini-series featuring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway as the scary narcissists who convinced the whole world that WeWork is a great idea.
“WeWork isn’t just a company — it’s a movement,” said the marketing behind this startup.
And it seemed to be, right until people discovered that the company was bleeding money…and the founders exited with a golden parachute worthy of Wall Street!
The story might be called WeCrashed, but those founders walked away with more than $7 billion.
This is Jared Leto’s first major project for a streaming app and we look forward to seeing his transformation into an eccentric billionaire!
The show isased on the popular Wondery podcast called WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork, which starred America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle.
