Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Global Models Revealed, Come with 120Hz Rate Screen & Flat Edges

Xiaomi’s global event had plenty of big updates, from how MIUI 13 works to news of the global variant of the Redmi Note 11.

At first glance, the Redmi Note 11 is markedly different from the Note 10 thanks to its flat edges metallic similar to the iPhone 13 phones.

There’s no denying it looks great for a mid-range phone that starts at just $179 and stops at $349.

As for the specs, they’re about as powerful as you’d expect.

Depending on whether you pick the basic or the 5G mode, the Redmi Note 11 has either a MediaTek Helio G96 processor or a Snapdragon 695 5G one, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and a 5,000 mAh battery.

However, Xiaomi chose to highlight two aspects of these phones: first, the “trendy” flat edges, and secondly, the camera.

It’s basically the same camera setup as the Redmi Note 10, with a 108 MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 camera and a 8 MP ultra wide sensor and a 2MP macro shooter.

Depending on the model you pick, the display is either 6.43-inch or 6.67-inch. It’s an FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay featuring DCI-P3 wide color gamut, with up to 1200 nits of brightness, up to 120Hz refresh rate ( the 11 and the 11s have 90Hz) and up to 360Hz touch sampling rate.

The base Redmi Note 11 and the Note 11S will be available starting this month, with the launch of the Pro models set for February.

For the basic Redmi Note 11 and the Note 11S, you have 33W fast charging, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 11 Pro have 67W turbo charging that charges 50% of the battery in just 15 minutes.
