Samsung S8 might not show up in Barcelona but that doesn’t mean its design can remain a secret for too long. In fact, leaker OnLeaks has already worked on a couple of renders that shed light on it #mobilemagic
OnLeaks released renders of the upcoming Samsung S8, made starting from factory CADs of the Samsung device.
As you can see in the video above, the renders confirm rumors circulating about the Samsung smartphone for a while now. The screen-to-body ratio looks about 90% as said and the home physical button is nowhere to be seen. While we’ve all thought the manufacturer would insert that function under the display, the button could still be on the rear of the phone, serving as a fingerprint sensor. If you look closely, you’ll see an indentation near the rear camera.
Besides this revelation of design, there’s not much to be said. There are two lock buttons on either side of the S8, one of them likely representing the virtual assistant “bell”.
As for audio features, you’ll still be able to use regular earphones since the 3.5 mm headphone jack has stayed put. That’s also the case of the single bottom-mounted speaker and USB Type-C connection.
What is your take on the design?
