This Man Takes Iron Man Cosplay To A Whole New Level

Until Elon Musk builds a real, flying, operational Iron Man suit, he might as well dress for Halloween in this perfect cosplay. With jet pack and jet thrusters included, the costume is remarkably similar to the one Robert Downey Jr. wore in the series #objectmagic

Wayne Berendhuysen built it single-handedly for his company, Ehv Props. Besides copying the Iron Man initial design, he used carbon dioxide and 10-watt floodlight LEDs to render the effect of the thrusters and jetpack first seen in the Marvel series. They’re great for a Halloween party of a ComiCon appearance, since they might look real, but would never endanger someone’s life.

Wayne names the costume Eleanor, as a reference to the car from Gone in 60 Seconds. See it in action above and then tell us it’s not crazy good looking. It might not fly soon, but we’ll take what we can get.
