Xiaomi has been having quite the year! The Chinese company launched Mi5 at the beginning of this month in China, debuted Redmi 3 Pro last week and is getting ready to launch a professional, smart rice cooker next week. Now, tipsters are talking about a better Xiaomi Mi Note in the near future, with 3D Touch technology and curved display, among other top-notch features #mobilemagic.
One leaker on Weibo believes the display will be curved, while the screen size will remain the same – 5.7 inches – but the resolution will be QHD with 3D Touch sensitivity, a feature appreciated in the latest Apple smartphones, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. With a bit of luck, we could run the smartphone on the most advanced processor yet, Snapdragon 820 chipset, have at least 4GB RAM and all the storage our heart desires – from 32 to 256GB. The camera module could receive a big update – from 13MP Sony sensor to 16MP Sony IMX298 sensor with OIS, of course.
We won’t see a change as big on the battery front, though, if the leaks prove to be true – from 3000 mAh to 3600mAh. There’s also a rumored price of CNY 2,999, but take it with a grain of salt.
As for Mi5′ journey, the phone is set to arrive in India on Thursday.
