At CES 2017, engineers Omar Eleryan and Simon Czarnota want to unveil a pocket-sized drone. We’ve seen tiny drones before (the smallest one being the size of a coin) but Cleo is the first selfie drone that looks like a donut and records HD video #actionmagic
Cleo drone is the team’s hope for a really mainstream drone – one that’s an immediate success with people of all ages who don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on it. Instead of relying on a recognizable quadcopter design, Eleryan and Czarnota went with a donut/UFO one (we can’t decide which one yet).
The blades are overlapped, as the design requires, and ensures stability. Cleo can take panoramas and selfies or record full 360-degree videos according to your settings in the smartphone app. There’s no controller – you can guide it with your phone.
Launch date and price are unknown at this moment, but should be made available after the January CES event.
