If you were happy with the MI 9, Xiaomi has announced the Mi 9 Pro 5G, an even better version.
MI 9 Pro 5G runs on faster chips, integrating a Snapdragon 855+ processor with 8 or 12GB of RAM. Its 5G modem offers full coverage for China’s three major carriers, and the new 6.4-inch 1080p OLED display has “professional” calibration.
Even better, Xiaomi’s new handset brings fast wireless charging, at 30W using a dedicated stand for about 69 minutes. The 30W wireless charger, however, doesn’t come free, it costs $20.
In terms of camera specs, nothing is changed since the last version of Mi 9, integrating a 48-megapixel main sensor with a 16-megapixel ultrawide and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens.
Initially, the smartphone will become available in China. If you want to upgrade to the new Mi 9 Pro 5G, it can be yours at the least price of $520 and up to $605.
