We’re very close to the PS5 launch and finally, concrete info is dropping in.
A few Japanese YouTubers posted PS5 gameplay demos, showing what next-gen games look like on Sony’s console.
However, don’t get your hopes up about finding out too much.
These PS5 demos show gameplay from titles like Godfall and Astro’s Playroom, but absolutely not a single peak at the new user interface.
Even though we only have just a month until the PS5 launch, no one really knows what the PS5 UI will look like, despite Sony teasing major improvements.
A while back, a Sony exec said on Linkedin (via Engadget) that no pixel remained untouched and to expect a “100 percent overhaul of the PS4 UI and some very different new concepts.”
He also added that the new PS5 UI is “practical first, but it’s a whole new visual language and a complete rearchitecting of the user interface.”
Considering how secretive Sony is, it’s likely we’ll see what that means when the PS5 hits the shelves.
Until then, we have these gameplay videos to go on.
