Ariana Grande To Host Concert During Fortnite’s Rift Tour

In a post on the Epic Games website, Fortnite has just announced that Ariana Grande will headline the Fortnite Rift Tour!

Ariana Grande will be holding a concert event at various times between August 6^th and August 8^th. The exact times (in PT) are:

August 6^th 3pm
August 7^th 11am
August 7^th 9pm
August 8^th 7am
August 8^th 3pm

Epic Games announced the Rift Tour a couple days ago. At the time, it was advertised as a moment when “Fortnite and a record-breaking superstar collide.” From July 29^th to August 8^th, players could unlock several in-game rewards in preparation for the (then not-named) Ariana’s concerts. One of these rewards includes an Ariana Grande costume.

This is also not the first time a celebrity has made their way into Fortnite. Recently, LeBron James appeared as a skin in the game as part of Fortnite’s Icon Series. Previously, artist Marshmello held an in-game concert and has since used the game as a medium to make some of his music videos.
