Elgato has some stiff competition and not just from that new Razer streaming deck.
Rode revealed a few new products and among them is this beautiful streaming deck: the Rode Streamer X.
The Rode Streamer X combines pro-level audio with a video capture card capable of capturing and streaming footage in 4K at 30fps or 2K at 60fps, as well as video passthrough at 4K in 60fps.
In a video called “Our biggest product announcement ever!”, Rode revealed an enticing streaming deck for content creators – especially ones focused on audio quality.
Featuring four customizable Smart pads on the side, you can set them up with any action you can think off, including sound effects for spicing up a stream. It’s also compatible with dual PC setups thanks to its two USB-C ports.
“The Streamer X is a revolutionary new product that combines a professional audio interface and video capture card in a compact, easy-to-use console. It features studio-grade audio inputs for XLR, line-level devices and headsets with an ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamp™ and powerful APHEX audio processing delivering pristine sound quality. It also features the same compatibility with RØDE Series IV wireless microphones that will be coming to the RØDECaster Pro II in the next firmware update,” says Rode.
