Huawei sub-brand Honor is expected to reveal the Honor Magic 2 flagship smartphone on October 31st, in Beijing but it looks like the device is already up on Geekbench.
The listing reveals that the smartphone will come with a Kirin 980 chipset and also that the device scores 3316 single-core score and the 9534 multi-core score. That’s pretty fast. While the benchmark results might be those of a dummy unit, we can expect the final product to actually score even higher.
Other specs include 8GB of RAM with 256GB storage and a 6.39 inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It has a 3,400mAh battery and weighs 209 grams.
As far as the cameras go, the device has a triple 16-megapixel + 24-megapixel + 16-megapixel rear camera unit. The front facing camera is a 16-megapixel one with two TOF sensors. The phone will feature the same sliding camera style we have seen on the Oppo Find X – the slider will pop up when the camera app is opened.
The phone has features like a 3D face scanner, in-display fingerprint reader and fast charging. It will allegedly come in Black, Blue, Red and Silver color variants.
So far, we don’t have any information about the price, but we’ll find out pretty soon.
