The tiny Husqvarna EE 5 motorcycle is aimed at the young dirt riders out there: the bike is completely battery powered and it’s just shy of 7bhp.
The mini bike has a 907 Wh Li-ion quick-charging battery – it can charge up to 80% in 45 minutes, while a full refill will take around 70.
The name of the bike stands for Electric Engine, while the 5 refers to the 5Kw of power that the motor produces. The EE 5 has six rider modes that can be selected via a panel that rests between the steering head and the seat.
It has 35mm WP XACT air forks with 205mm of wheel travel, alongside a WP rear shock.
The bike is aimed at riders who are just starting their journey into dirt biking by offering them non-intimidating power that they can learn to control before they eventually advance onto more powerful motorcycles.
The EE 5 will not be available for a while longer though – the bike will reach dealerships in the summer of 2019.
