The Impossible Project became very possible recently, when, after a 7 year endeavour to reverse-engineer Polaroid’s instant photo process, the team managed to launch a digitally-almost-pristine camera that makes analog photos #fotomagic
The Polaroid-type device has a shutter button, a dial to adjust exposure compensation and a focus selector. Inside, it features a ring lash that uses ambient light sensor and focus distance to make the subject brighter. But that’s about it. Of course, if you still want to make Instagram-worthy shots, the camera comes with an adjacent app where you can make other adjustments, including ones for multiple-exposure shots.
It’s a classy variant to vintage shooters with an USB recharging ability you’d otherwise sorely miss. The only caveat is you will have to use their type 600 film, no matter what.
