Google Announces Controller For Its Stadia Game Streaming Service

You might remember that, at the beginning of the month, a Google patent surfaced online, which showed a controller that everyone assumed would be an add-on to the company’s future game-streaming service.

Now that Google has officially revealed its much talked-about cloud game-streaming service, dubbed Stadia, it has also unveiled the mysterious controller.

It looks like any other controller for PlayStation and Xbox out there and it comes in black and white color variants. One of the things that sets it apart from the other controllers we’re familiar with is the Stadia logo, as well as a share and a Google Assistant button. This button will allow the users to access the built-in microphone to talk with the Google Assistant and access hints,

The controller will connect directly to the data center but the users won’t need to purchase it in order to access the streaming service.

Google has not revealed when it will release the device or how much it will cost.
