The Instituto Nacional de la Propiedad Industrial Argentina (National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI) has certified the Honor 9s name in Argentina on April 5th. While the list doesn’t arrive with any specs, since it’s just a trademark for the name only.

There’s two options we have now, in terms of speculating: either we’re dealing with an entirely new phone, or the Huawei Enjoy 9s has been rebranded and will see a launch outside China.

If we do go by the latter, the phone will most likely not go through a lot of changes, if any. It will maybe have more RAM and storage, three rear cameras, a Kirin 710 chipset under the hood and a 6.21 inch display.

For now, Honor has not made any announcements, so it remains to be seen what the outcome will be.
