After introducing Omni, a VR rig for action cameras this year, GoPro took the stand once more this year to unveil the next action cam for adventurers. Hero 5 Black and Hero 5 Session were launched this morning #actionmagic
The next hope for video on the go isn’t groundbreaking at all; both Hero5 models comes with 4K video and include EIS. What’s new? Hero 5 series supports voice control, for one. Secondly, it solves most of the issues consumers had with Hero4.
This time, Hero 5 Black comes with a 2-inch touchscreen display, something we had appreciated in its rival, Yi 4K, captures RAW photos, has GPS and 3 microphones.
Also, both Session and Black get rid of the waterproof case by becoming waterproof themselves. You can take Hero5 up to 30 feet under water without problem!
Hero 5 Black will be available for $399 and Hero 5 Session, for $299, starting October 2.
