New images of the highly-anticipated Star Wars theme park have emerged and yes, it looks epic.
Announced in 2015 by The Walt Disney company, Star Wars: Galaxy Edge is set to open its gates on August 29th this year in the flagship park located in Orlando, Florida.
Spreading over 14 acres and at an estimated cost of $1bn, this will be the place to be for all Star Wars fans. An almost identical theme park is announced to open in Anaheim, California at a later date.
As you can see in the photos, the main attraction will be a replica of the Millennium Falcon at a size of over 100 ft in length inviting a team of six people to operate it to give the ultimate interactive experience.
Along with the amazing new rides and amusements, Star Wars: Galaxy Edge will also have themed restaurants like Ronto Roasters and Oga’s Cantina. A first for any Walt Disney Parks will the serving of alcohol in these new eateries.
Disney has increased the admission in their parks back in January and entry for the Star Wars: Galaxy Edge won’t be cheap. A daily pass will cost you $104 in an off-peak period, for example during a weekday in February. However, a one-day ticket on a weekend in the summer will cost you $149.
