Everyone is eagerly expecting the AirPods 2 to make an appearance and, according to MySmartPrice and a trusted source, the Apple earbuds might make an appearance sooner than we’d think.
According to this source, Apple has updated the earbuds to allow a ‘more impressive bass response’ and added a new coating on the housing for an improved grip. According to them, it will be similar to the same type of coating Google uses for the Pixel smartphones.
The earbuds will come with biometric sensors which will help them act like a fitness tracker as well, and will be available in both black and white.
Battery-wise, they will be similar to the original AirPods but, unlike them, they will more likely cost $200, instead of the $159 price tag the AirPods usually come with.
In addition to the AirPods 2, the AirPower charging pad and the wireless charging case for the first-gen AirPods will also be released sometime this spring. By all accounts, the AirPods 2 should arrive around the same time.
Excited about the prospect? How about the option of a black pair of AirPods? Tell us in the comments.
