It looks like 2019 will be the year of the hole-in-the-display, if the recent leaks and announcements are anything to go by.
OnLeaks and 91mobiles got their hands on a handful of renders that showcase an alleged upcoming Nokia phone, which might be called the Nokia 8.1 Plus, but don’t take our word for it.
The device features a punch-hole design that accommodates the front camera on the top-left corner of the 6.22 inch display.
We can notice that the phone has a dual Zeiss camera setup on the glass back as well as a fingerprint sensor placed beneath it. If you were hoping for an in-display sensor, it doesn’t look like Nokia is going to deliver it just yet, at least not with this model.
A 3.5mm headphone jack is also present, so we got that going for us, which is nice.
We don’t know anything about what the specs might bring, but, if the renders are real, we can expect Nokia to make an announcement in the next couple of weeks and tell us what it’s all about.
