Apple Music For Android Brings Autoplay and Crossfade Features

Last month, Apple tested some iOS 14 features for its Music app for Android and now the improvements are coming to the final version of the Apple Music app.

Recently updated, version 3.4 of Apple Music on Android includes more customized functionalities. The Listen Now tab is a new section that replaces the For You tab. Other relevant features include the Autoplay functionality, a Crossfade feature, the possibility to share on Instagram, Facebook & Snapchat Stories, a better search experience and an enhanced playback experience.

If you enable the Crossfade feature – which is not available in Apple Music on the iPhone or iPad – through the app’s playback settings, you will notice songs project and crossfade and you get to chose the crossfade time of up to 12 seconds.

The Autoplay feature allows users able to let Apple Music choose the next songs to play by interpreting the previous playlist and come up with similar songs from the same artist or genre.

The 3.4.0 version is available for Android version 5.0 and later and according to an Apple support document it also includes a security patch.
