It seems that, by all accounts, the iPad Pro might support the Logitech Crayon once iOS 12.2 comes around.
While this is not official news just yet, 9to5Mac has tested the Logitech Crayon on the iOS 12.2 beta 6 software and found that it worked without any issues. In addition to that, Jason Snell of Macworld has also hinted that something like this might be on the way, a few days ago.
This is good news in terms of pricing, for one thing – Apple’s iPad Pencil comes in two versions, a Lightning version and a wireless charging version but they also cost from $99 to as much as $129.
The Logitech Crayon on the other hand, while it charges via a Lightning port, doesn’t support tap gestures and is not pressure-sensitive, will only set the users back by $69.95.
Apple has not confirmed or denied these rumors but the iOS 12.2 update is set to go live this week so we’ll know soon enough.
