Astro Gaming Reveals Highly Customizable Controller for PS4

Astro Gaming has officially announced their newest controller for the PlayStation 4: the Astro C40 TR, which is also PC-compatible.

What makes this controller special is the fact that it has removable modules which you can swap around: you can remove the analog stick and replace it with D-pad covers for example and basically switch things around to complement your gaming style.

The rear buttons don’t require any additional software for remapping. That said, if you want to fully customize and adjust trigger and stick sensitivities, you will need to install the software on a PC. From there, you can create custom controller profiles and more.

The controller works wireless, as well as with a wire, and comes with a 3.5mm jack for audio and voice chat.

The C40 RT is only available for pre-order at the moment, with a price tag of $199.99. Deliveries will begin in March 2019.
