Asus is joining the list of companies that have been teasing or downright announcing their upcoming products ahead of the CES, which is set to kick off next week. As far as Asus goes, it’s presenting the Mini PC ProArt PA90.
The device is only seven inches wide and 14 inches tall and what it lacks in size it delivers in performance – it can be equipped with Intel’s 9th Gen Core i9-9900K or the i7-9700K processor with NVIDIA Quadro P4000 or P200 graphics, depending on the user’s needs. Both of them come with 30% performance improvements from the previous Mini PC generation.
It benefits from a CPU liquid cooler which makes it 36% quieter than your average desktop out there and a top cover will extend automatically if it reaches temperatures of above 176 degrees.
The Mini PC comes in 64GB RAM and 32GB variants with either two 512GB M.2 PCIe SSDs or one 1TB 2.5-inch HDD. Connectivity-wise it’s also looking great: it has two USB-3.1 ports on the front and back, four Display Ports on the back and Two Thunderbolt 3 ports as well.
What more could you ask for ?
We don’t know anything about pricing yet and we can’t say much about a release date either: Asus only offered a vague “in the coming months” hint, which is not much of a time frame, but we might get to watch it in action during the CES.
