Bang & Olufsen’s Beoplay E8 are one of the most popular premium wireless earbud choices.
Now, they’re also available in a Beoplay E8 Sport variant, which makes them a lot better for working out.
While the previous model, the Beoplay E8 Motion could handle some jogging, the Beoplay 8 Sport ups the game with an IP57 water resistance rating, up from IP54, which meant splash resistance.
That means you could also take them up swimming for up to 30 minutes, as they can still work with a full immersion of up to one meter.
The earbuds themselves also have easier to grip details, so you can take calls or switch tunes even when your hands are sweaty.
The features mention Bluetooth 5.1, AAC and aptX support, just like previous models.
While B&O did not mention all the specs of the Beoplay E8 Sport wireless earbuds, they will probably be similar to the E8 3.0 line.
That means a 7 hour battery life and four more charges in the case, which also features both wireless charging and a quick charge feature that lets you listen to 1.5 hours of music after a 20 minute charge.
We do know the price tag is identical with other models – $350.
The earbuds will be available in black and blue options starting July 9th.
