With remote working now being a reality for most of us and conference calls an increasing part of work hours, Dell launched a device that might make things easier.
At first glance, the Dell Mobile Adapter Speakerphone looks like a regular USB-C hub, albeit with HDMI and USB-A ports for extra helpfulness.
However, like the name reveals, it doubles as a conference hub, with a speakerphone allowing you to enjoy calls with greater clarity.
The Mobile Adapter Speakerphone has dual microphones with 360-degree sound and built-in echo cancellation and is fitted with dedicated volume, mute and answer buttons.
“Supporting the latest industry standards, this Dell multiport adapter lets you enjoy sharp images at up to 4K resolution at 60Hz when you connect your external display via the HDMI 2.0 port or USB-C port,” say Dell.
The specs list is completed by speeds up to 10Gbps for file transfers using the USB-C or USB-A ports and up to 90W Power Delivery for charging.
The Dell Mobile Adapter Speakerphone is already available on the Dell.com website for $199.
